ARTISTIC RESIDENCIES
The artistic residency is a section of research, creation and presentation of scenic and musical projects in collaboration with Auditorio de Tenerife. The first edition took place at NUMAcircuit 015, with the proposal New musical thoughts. The intentions. Auditorio de Tenerife has been actively involved in the production and sponsorship of the festival since 2011, when the first performance of the Big Band of Visual Noise was held there. In the following years, the formulations were renewed in the 2014 edition with the performances of the OCMA and Owin'ek ensembles. This collaboration intensifies from then on to change format, going from a specific performance each year in the Chamber Hall to an ambitious program of residencies with the intention of generating shows of various kinds with their own character.

PLASTIC ARTS
The plastic arts are an essential component of NUMAcircuit. Its consideration and treatment were essential aspects in the conception of the platform, and its extension has occupied a prominent place in each programming, taking shape in very diverse ways. Group exhibitions have been a constant since the first edition, originally organized as frameworks for coexistence in which performances are also held, and with this concept ingrained they traveled through the multiple spaces that have been part of the NUMA circuit of each edition. The plastic arts have been understood in an integrative way, with a variety of disciplines, incorporating painting, sculpture, drawing, photography, video and various types of installations, and numerous artists participated in them.

OPEN CALLS
In 2014, for the first time, we opened a public call to which artists can participate by submitting a proposal to participate in the festival. This access modality had a sense of openness, of expanding our search radius for projects. But also an intention to reference our position on an artistic world map, in minority currents from an individualized point of view, but solvent and intertwined if considered at a global level.
—
SELF-PRODUCED ACTIVITIES
We call self-produced activities those conceived by the NUMAcircuit organization. Normally they are specific interdisciplinary shows, specific workshops or installations tailored to a space, which are expressly commissioned to the person or group considered appropriate at a particular moment, although sometimes they have been developed by the organizers themselves in collaboration with other technicians and artists.

PROGRAMMATION CORE
The core of the successive NUMAcircuit programs has been configured with the jobs that occupy the technicians and artists in our environment. Correctly producing and giving visibility to proposals committed to new forms of expression that originate or develop in this regional area of the Canary Islands was originally the fundamental motive of NUMAcircuit.
The first programs were made entirely with the projects of a small group of artists determined to generate a framework of performances in which to show their work in a coherent and contextualized way. Other personal links were progressively developed until it constituted an integrated platform in the local scene. This process meant an exponential increase in local artists participating in the festival from more 'conventional' disciplines, musically and scenically speaking, whose works contributed to enrich, energize and consolidate the proposals of each program.

WORKSHOPS AND LEARNING
Taking into account the novelty of the contents, approaches and developments proposed, NUMAcircuit takes special care of the informative and didactic aspects that can foster the relationship between technicians and artists from different disciplines, as well as the involvement of the interested public. This instructional component has a double objective: on the one hand it is responsible for explaining and contextualizing the activities that make up each edition, and on the other hand it focuses on providing technical tools that encourage active public participation, cooperative work and self-production.
This is articulated based on a program that consists of talks, basic workshops and informal meetings at Equipo Para, a meeting with the artists who make up the residency at Auditorio de Tenerife and the series of intensive workshops taught at TEA, which They are aimed at a specialized audience and constitute the main axis of educational programming in recent years.
The training activities that NUMAcircuit programs are usually linked to the most recent technology, particularly to applications aimed at artistic creation, and to a greater or lesser extent, to the different forms of free software and hardware.

FUN STUFF!
The personal interaction between the public and the closeness with the artists are aspects that we have always considered fundamental. We think that they favor the public's empathy towards artistic proposals, facilitating their understanding or at least their enjoyment. And above all, transcendentally, it contributes to generating the playful and welcoming atmosphere that surrounds each edition.
